ANY BOOKING WITH SCOTS AIRPORT TRAVEL LTD IS MADE IN ACCORDANCE TO THE
FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
GENERAL
- These terms and conditions, together with any other written information brought to your attention before we confirm your booking, shall form the basis of your contract with Scots Airport Travel Limited (a company incorporated in Scotland, No. SC602733) (‘us’, ‘we’ or the ‘company’) in respect of the relevant booking for any service provided by the Company. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and contact us for any queries you have.
- The main person or body, on whose name the booking is made known as the ‘lead passenger’ will have deemed to accept all the terms and conditions specified, together with any specific conditions specified upon making the booking on behalf of his/her and all passengers listed/travel in the booking.
- Any written confirmation including e-mail and/or text with acceptance of both parties will lead to a formation of contract between the customer/s and Scots Airport Travel Ltd.
- We do not accept any responsibility in any way for missed flights/trains/coaches/ferries etc. for whatever reason i.e. break downs, road works, accidents, traffic delays, severe weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances.
- It is your responsibility to inform the Company regarding any special need or luggage detail when making the booking.
- It is the responsibility of all passengers to comply with the Policies and Procedures set by the providers of accommodations and/or activities and in cases of failure of compliance, we reserve the right to charge you.
- The terms and conditions are set in accordance with Scots Law and any dispute arising will be dealt according to that in the Scottish Courts.
BOOKING PROCESS AND PAYMENT
- Bookings for our Tours and/or Transfers can be made through our website www.scotsairporttravel.co.uk, by email contact@scotsairporttravel.co.uk and/or through telephone on the numbers +441414747478 or +447444774677
- You will receive a confirmation of your booking with a reference number. Until we send you a written confirmation, no contract would be formed and your booking/s will not be confirmed. You are responsible for checking that the details received to us are correct.
- Payments can be made by all major debit/credit cards and bank transfer. We also accept Cash (Pounds Sterling) when agreed by both parties.
OTHER SERVICES
- Any entrance fees/charges to attraction/activities and/or sites etc. is not included unless stated.
- Airports/Train Stations/Ferry Ports pick up/drop off charges are included in our price.
CHANGES/CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY
- While we shall do everything reasonable possible to provide you with the tour/transfer as planned, the Company reserves the right to alter tour, transfer, transport etc. if required. This will be notified to you as soon as possible.
- The Company also reserves the right to refuse travel to any person who is experiencing medical symptoms likely to cause ill health to others. No refund will be issued in this case.
- In the unlikely event that the booking is cancelled by us prior to commencing, you will get full refund of the payments you have already made to us.
- In the event of booking being cancelled by us during the tour/transfer due to unsocial, aggressive, abusive behaviour or something done by you/group, which is against the law, you will not receive any refund.
CHANGES/CANCELLATION BY YOU
- If you wish to change any part of your booking/s, you (person named on the booking) should inform us in writing as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your request. If any extra cost/s have occurred due to changes made by you will be payable by you to the Company or third-party service provider.
- If you cancel your transfer booking more than 24 hours before the journey commence, you will get full refund.
- Please note no refund will be given if transfer cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to the booking time.
- No refund is made if passenger does not show up or do not wait for the driver/s and take alternative transport.
- For tours cancellation, you have to inform the Company in writing more than 7 days before your tour commences to get 90% refund (10% admin charges will be applicable).
- Please note no refund will be given if cancellation is made within 7 days prior to the start of the tour and this applies to all types of tours.
INSURANCE/LIABILITY
- We do not accept any responsibility for loss of luggage or personal belongings.
- We strongly recommend that all passengers arrange a suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance.
- We act as the client's agent and as an independent intermediary in the contracting of transportation and other travel services, and thus shall not be held liable for any acts, omissions, breaches or negligence of any such independent businesses or any damages or expenses resulting from the aforesaid, including but not limited to damages resulting from death, injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, theft, delays or any other irregularity which may arise, whether directly or indirectly, from the supply of travel services by travel services suppliers which have been contracted by us.
- We and our affiliates are not liable for any refunds in the event of overbooking or Force Majeure Event.
COMPLAINTS
- We actively welcome your feedback. In the event that you have any complaint during your journey/tour then please bring this to the attention of your driver as soon as possible. If your complaint is not resolved, then please contact our office in writing and we will reply as soon as possible. No complaints will be considered if made after 24 hours of your transfer/tour finishes.
DATA PROTECTION
- In order to process your booking and travel arrangements, we will need to use the personal information which you provide to us (such as your name, address, contact details etc.). We may also use the information provided to keep in touch with you for Company related matters (including special offers). However, we will not pass your information on to anyone who is not involved in relation of your booking.
